The Bespoke Process

Commissioning a bespoke piece of sculpture or furniture is something special and requires a lot of care and attention. Here is a brief guide to our bespoke services. If you have any further questions, please get in touch. We'd love to hear from you.

Brief

 1.

We meet with you at our atelier or elsewhere, to talk through your vision, review samples and discuss your project in detail. This may be something completely new or something you have seen in our portfolio that you would like a version of. We will discuss your requirements. Whatever your vision, all of our pieces are unique.

Design

 2.

If appropriate, a site visit is undertaken after which we will agree on a design brief and a design fee. Designs are drawn up and all details, costs and lead times are agreed with the client in writing.

Presentation

 3.

A design is developed based on the brief, all materials are selected and when complete, a presentation is made to the client for sign off. At this stage a 50% deposit is required prior to materials being ordered and production being scheduled.

Production

 4.

The production phase now begins in earnest. Our team will set to work, creating your bespoke piece, with precision, care and attention. We care about every step of the production process, from the acquisition of the material, through its preparation and finishing before delivery.

Delivery & Installation

 5.

Of course this is the most exciting part; your vision is complete and we deliver and if necessary install your bespoke piece. We ensure that you are as happy as we are and aware of any on-going care for your new work. Our aim is to leave you with a piece that becomes part of your life to be shared and enjoyed for many years to come.
