The Clan Chess Set

Inspired by Pre-Islamic mythical figures and cultural artefacts of the remote parts of Eastern Afghanistan, each piece is hand-carved and hand-painted to form the most unique chess set you could own. The colourful figuers are each miniature sculptures on their own,  but together as a group with their strong visual effect, they have a strong presence in any room. The board is covered with 64 individually hand-carved hand-painted blocks, and french polished in light and dark tints. Perfect for the art collectors and chess lovers, this conversation and display piece  is a beautiful addition to any home. 
 
All Lazo Studio pieces are made to order and each is completely unique.
 
Our chess sets range from £3000- £5000. All our board games are unique. We never make the same exact board twice. The price quoted is a guide and is subject to change depending on individual specifications. Quoted prices exclude VAT and shipping costs. For UK sales a 20% VAT is applied. This piece can be designed and painted to client specification.
