Harvest Backgammon Board | Table

Inspired by the desings of tribal textiles of Asia, this backgammon board, doubles as a side table. The intricate abstract wheat stalk motif on the backgammon side as well as the intertwining foliage design on the corner of the table top are hand-carved and painted to evoke colourful nomadic rugs and kilims of Central Asia. The fine hand-carving on the table top is a mixture of classical floral as well as an abstracted pixelated pattern reminiscent of computer generated designs. The unique octagoal playing discs can be stored in the box that supports the table top when not in use. Beautifully designed and executed, this multi-functional piece is sure to be an heirloom and a conversation piece as it brings people together in style around this ancient strategy boardgame.
